Izzy's Adventures in Europe

The natural history museum.

On Friday second of June we went to the Natural History Museum, where they have lots of different exhibits.

Below is a large sized diagram/model of the earth, but unfortunately the chunk containing New Zealand has had to be removed so you can see the inside.

Below you can see some of the photos from the museum.

This is a fake spider.

When a spider gets water droplets on it’s web, it uses it’s legs to feel out the patches that are dry and safe to step on.

This exhibit is about the different planets, their moons, and their meanings.

  1. Kia ora from Tamaki Makaurau/Auckland in Aotearoa/New Zealand!

Miss Mill just shared your blog with the students in ruma te kau ma toru/Room 13.

Ale was your Mum’s voice in the emails and Maddie and Ale took turns to be your voice during the blog.

The class truly enjoyed it – especially the large spider and the dinosaur photos.

What an exciting trip you are on.

The sun is shining today after a very cold start and Paikea students did a practice for next week’s Skip Off for the Heart Foundation.

To date Paikea has raised $9,505 in sponsorship for the New Zealand Heart Foundation.

What a wonderful time you are having with your close family in Europe! Please continue to keep us updated.
